the fact that u cant stand her has nothing to do with her acting skills. Anna is great … wunderkind, oscar won at the age of 9 for her performance in the Piano.
Anna is great … shes cute and genuine, perfect for this role
Btw .. cant wait for the season 2 to start .. yay !

I’d just like to …
I’d just like to comment (as a fan of both Twilight and True Blood) that one of the reasons why this show is doing so well is because Twilight is giving Vampire stories the spotlight they have been missing for awhile. BUT the two stories have two completely different target audiences so comparing and contrasting the two seems pointless to me. May as well compare Buffy to the Anne Rice Vampires. Also, Twilight is only annoying because crazy fan girls make it annoying.

The MAJOR difference between this series and Twilight is that the human (Sookie) is the one with the mind-reading, which makes it much more interesting. And yes, she can’t read vampires thoughts because apparently, they dont have brainwaves (translation: their dead)
i like the idea of the synthetic blood tho (rather than the “vegan vamps”). Twi-fans, no offense, but this vamp series is something you should watch =)
And pls dont compare Bill with Edward. Gorgeous guys on diff lvl

True Blood is …
True Blood is NOTHING like Twilight. I like both but for very different reasons. Twilight is a soppy romantic story about nice vampires with a tiny bit of action in it. True Blood is sexy and scary and violent, with a very dark humour to it. Just because they’re both about vampires doesn’t make them similar. They are totally opposites.

Its NOTHING like twilight. ITs soo much better. Sex, blood, drugs, action, drama, other supernatural creatures. Its the best show and the books are even better.

I love vampires, so …
I love vampires, so I decided to take a look at this show, but the fact that you’re saying it’s like twilight just made me lose interest in the show.
Can anyone please tell me that it’s NOT like twilight? I don’t want this “Since 2008 vampires are now not badass anymore, but rather emo s who fall in love with their food” thing :S. It seems like this though, but I just don’t want it to be the main storyline.
